Game 1

The Eaton Rapids Baseball was victorious over Lansing Catholic Varsity Baseball, 7-2

ER got things started in the second inning.  Eaton Rapids Varsity Greyhounds scored one run when Tyler Wolf singled.

Trey Acker led the Greyhounds to victory on the mound. Trey surrendered two runs on seven hits over six innings, striking out six and walking zero.  Chase Carlson threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

ER  totaled ten hits.  Wolf and Eddie Jewett all managed multiple hits for the Greyhounds.  Wolf led ER with three hits in three at bats.

Game 2 

In Game 2 the Eaton Rapids baseball team clinched the CAAC white division championship by  defeating  Lansing Catholic 9-2 on Tuesday.

The Greyhounds evened things up at two in the bottom of the third inning.  Braylon Nobach grounded out, scoring one run.

ER  pulled away for good with three runs in the fourth inning.  In the fourth Garrett Williams tripled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run, Trey Acker singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run, and Chase Carlson grounded out, scoring one run.

The Greyhounds put up four runs in the sixth inning.  ER's big bats in the inning were led by singles by Tyler Wolf, Johnny Stohr, and Jude Kennedy.

Carlson took the win for Eaton Rapids Varsity Greyhounds. Carlson went six innings, allowing two runs on six hits and striking out three.  Eddie Jewett threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

The Greyhounds scattered 13 hits in the game.  Acker, Kennedy, and Jewett all collected multiple hits for Eaton Rapids Varsity Greyhounds.  Acker went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Eaton Rapids.  The Greyhounds didn't commit a single error in the field. Wolf had  nine chances in the field, the most on the team.
