Boys Freshman get back to back wins!

The Freshman boys basketball team has already had a busy week. Last night the Freshman hounds took on Lansing Catholic for a make-up game and won 61-35! Keegan Gochenour led the team with 16pts, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists. Damarian Bailey followed with 12 points, 10 boards, and 9 blocked shots. Hayden Hendrickson had 10 points and Easton Nobach had 9.
Tonight, the Freshman finished their home schedule with a 55-21 victory over Haslett! Leading the way with points was Easton Nobach with 15, followed by Keegan Gochenour with 11 and Damarian Bailey with 10. Isaac Hokanson also had 7 points.
The Freshman will finish their season on the road at Ovid-Elsie on Thursday. Game time is 4 pm.

The Freshman played Mason today and won 57-45 against a very good Bulldog team. Leading the Greyhounds wer Easton Nobach with 27 points and Damarian Bailey with 13pts, 13 rebounds and 11 blocked shots! The Freshman boys are home on Thursday at 5:30 against and undefeated Charlotte team! Come out and support the Hounds!

Freshman lost 57-55 on last-second shot to Grand Ledge tonight. The Greyhounds made a furious comeback in the 4th quarter overcoming a 14-point deficit. Lead in the way was Easton Nobach with 14 followed by Keegan Gochenour with 11 and Preston Schlicter with 8. The Freshman team plays next at Lansing Catholic on Thursday. The game time is 5:30 pm.

The Freshmen made it four in a row over Sexton tonight at home! The game was tight at half, but the Greyhounds pulled away winning 55-40. Easton Nobach and Keegan Gochenaour each had 13 to lead the Greyhounds. Hayden Hendrickson added 11 and Damarian Bailey had 9. The Freshmen play next at Grand Ledge on Tuesday. The Game time is 4 pm.

The Freshman Boy's Basketball team extended their winning streak to three with a 43-25 win over Parma last night! Damarian Baily had a double-double with 10 pts and 10 rebounds. Easton Nobach led the team in scoring with 13. The Freshman team plays next at home on Thursday against Lansing Sexton, game time is 5:30 pm. Go Hounds!

The Freshman team made it two in a row over Ionia tonight winning 51-47. That brings their record to 10-4 on the season. The Hounds were led by Keegan Gochenour with 13, followed by Easton Nobach with 12. Hayden Hendrickson had 10 points while Damarian Bailey had 9. Preston Schlicter rounded out the scoring with 6. The Freshmen go to Parma next Tuesday for a 4 pm start.

A whole host of Greyhounds were in the scoring mood tonight as the Freshmen boys defeated Lakewood at home 61-37! Easton Nobach (12), Damarian Bailey (11), and Hayden Hendrickson (10) all scored in double figures. Keegan and Kaleb Gochenaur each scored 8. Ryker Boatman (3), Braylee Neirenberger (3), Preston Schlicter (2), and Christian Berry (2) helped the Hounds in the Victory. Last but not least, Brady Tomlin scored his first points of the season as he fired up a layup to seal the victory! The Freshmen boys play at home again on Thursday against Ionia. Game time 5:30 pm! Go Hounds!

Easton Nobach (13pts), Keegan Gochenour (12 pts), and Christian Berry (11 pts) all scored in double figures as the Freshmen boys extend their winning streak to 4! Hayden Hendrickson and Damarian Bailey chipped in with 8 in the victory. The Freshmen Hounds take on the Orioles from Charlotte at their place on Thursday. Game time is 5:30 pm in hostile territory. Easton Nobach set the tone tonight with 21 points against the Cougars from Lansing Catholic. The Freshmen Hounds moved up and down the court taking a big lead into half-time 24-11. The Hounds didn't look back as they defeated the Cougars 51-25. Hayden Hendrickson and Christian Berry each had 9 in the attack. The boys play next at home on Tuesday (1/17) against the Quakers from Lansing Eastern. Game time is 4 pm.

The Eaton Rapids Boys Freshman Basketball team lost a hard-fought battle with Battle Creek Pennfield tonight. It came down to the wire but the Panthers proved too much winning 48-45. Leading Eaton Rapids in scoring was Easton Nobach with 17, followed by Keegan Gochenour and Damarian Bailey with 8 points each. James O'Connor, Hayden Hendrickson, and Preston Schlicter all chipped in, to account for the Hound's 45 points. The boys next play at Ionia on Thursday. Game time 5:30 pm.
