Boys 8th Basketball vs. Mason MS (Mason)

The 8th-grade boy's basketball teams were home last night against Mason. The boys fought hard on a night when the MS Hounds found themselves shorthanded because of sickness. In the B game, the ER boys fell short 48-21. Dylan Bluhm led ER scorers with 8 points and Tanner Dingman with 6 points. Jacob Droste and Duncan Holevac rounded out the scoring with 4 and 3 respectively.
In the A game, the boys were also shorthanded due to sickness. They gave a great effort but fell 47-29. Landon Lonn had the hot hand with 10 points, followed by Joe Zubal with 8, and Connor Nofke with 6. Ricky Schutte and Jacob Droste each had 2 points and Dylan Bluhm scored 1.
The boys next travel to Charlotte on Monday (12/12) for a 4:30 start. Go Hounds!

Eaton Rapids Boys 8th Grade Basketball pull out a last-second win over Ionia last night! Parker Nelson hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to put ER up 30-28! Parker Nelson led all scorers with 19 points, followed by Connor Nofke with 15, and Joe Zubal with 12. The 8th Grade team will be at home tomorrow against Waverly Middle School. The action starts at 4:30 pm. Go Hounds!
Boys 8th Basketball vs. Lansing Catholic MS

The 8th-grade boys battled hard tonight but fell short in both games.
In the first game, Lansing Catholic won 38-9. Duncan Holevac scored all 9 points for the Greyhounds.
The Greyhounds lost 59-34 to the Cougars in the second game. Scoring was well-balanced with Connor Noffke leading the Hounds with 7 points. Landon Lonn and Ricky Schutte had 6 points, followed by Joe Zubal with 5. Rounding out the scoring were Brennan Eaton with 4, Parker Nelson, and Dylan Bluhm with 3.
The team stays at home next Monday against Haslett. Games start at 4:30 pm.

Lose: 11 - 70
Eaton Rapids 8th grade Boys Basketball kicked off their season at Mason Middle School yesterday!
In the first game Mason jumped out to a big lead winning it 70-11. Leading the way for the Hounds was Duncan Holevac with 5 points, followed by Tanner Dingman with 3 pts, Cameron Hall with 2, and Cole Strank with 1.
The second game was a back-and-forth affair with Mason coming out on top 60-55. Leading the way was Landon Lonn with 14 pts, followed by Joe Zubal with 10, Conner Noffke with 10, Parker Nelson with 8, Rick Schutte with 6, Dylan Bluhm with 4, and Brennan Eaton with 2.
The 8th-grade teams play next at Portland Middle School on Monday, November 14th at 4:30 pm.
