HOLT HIGH SCHOOL: 7
The Greyhound JV Softball team swept the Holt Rams in their home opener 9-7 and 10-9! In the first game Mae Schutte stuck out 8 batters in the winning effort. Riley Cutler had a big double to open the game up. Lyla Smith added two hits as well.
In the second game, Mae Schutte led the Greyhounds on the mound with 9 strikeouts! Several girls had clutch hits in a great team effort! Giselle Raad led the team defensively behind the plate in both games!
The JV Greyhounds play Parma Western next Wednesday at home and then turn around and play Grand Ledge away next Thursday.
