PORTLAND HIGH SCHOOL: 55
Eaton Rapids fought hard but could not stop the rushing attack of the Raiders on Friday night. losing 55-6. Quarterback Keegan Gochenour went 19/41 with 148 yards passing and scored the lone touchdown on the ground. Receiver Hayden Hendrickson led the Greyhounds with 8 receptions for 55 yards. He also had 5 kick returns for 93 yards. CarVontae Sheppard had 4 receptions for 59 yards. Marvin Deh had 4 catches for 25 yards. Josh Griffith did a great job getting the Hounds out of trouble punting the ball 5 times with a long of 36 yards.
On Defense, CarVontae Sheppard led the Hounds with 5 tackles. Jackson White and Hayden Hendrickson had 4 tackles a piece.
That brings the Hounds record to 1-5 with 3 games remaining in the their 2023 campaign.
The Hounds host the J-Dubbs from Sexton on Homecoming this Friday! The kick is set for 7 pm.
