OLIVET HIGH SCHOOL: 9
The Varsity Baseball team lost both games at Olivet yesterday 4-9 and 2-12. The Greyhounds took the lead in the 1st inning 2-0 executing their offense with a sac bunt, walk, and a single. The Eagles came up in the bottom of the first and quickly tied the game on a home run. The Eagles added 3 more in the third and 3 more in the 5th to put it out of reach. The Hounds were able to tighten the score in the 5th with a 2 RBI single by Joe Zubal.
In the second game, the Hounds could not get anything going offensively. Braylon Nobach led the team with 2 hits. Jonny Stohr, Matt Wright, Glenn Steien, and Ayden Glassbrook all had hits in the loss.
The Greyhounds host the Gladiators from Fowlerville on Thursday 5/2.
