Varsity Baseball loses two at home vs. Holt

HOLT SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 1

Senior Braylon Nobach shut down the Rams for 7 innings, but the Rams scored one in the eight to take game one on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Nobach's line was 7 IP, 0 runs, and 4 K's in his first start of the season. He also went 3 for 4 at the plate with a triple. Senior Jonny Stohr went 2 for 2 on the day with a double. Joe Zubal, Matt Wright, and Chase Covello added one hit a piece on the day.

In the second game, the Hounds had trouble getting the bats going. Joe Zubal went 1 for 2 in the second game.

The Hounds host Mason on Tuesday before traveling to Ionia on Thursday for their first conference game of the season.
