PARMA WESTERN HIGH SCHOOL: 11
The Eaton Rapids Varsity baseball team opened up their season on the road at Parma Western last night. The Greyhounds lost the first game 11-3 and did not finish the second game due to darkness.
In the first game, Matthew Wright got the start on the mound. The right-hander allowed 8 hits and 5 runs over five innings striking out 8. Evan Stohr came out of the pen to relieve Wright for one inning.
The Greyhounds had 5 hits Sebastian Nelson and Ayden Glassbrook each with 2 and Braylon Nobach with one.
The Boys will play next at home on Tuesday, April 18th against Ionia. The first pitch is 4 pm.
