Game 1

The Greyhounds scored six runs in the second on its way to a 10-2 victory over Waverly on Thursday.  Eddie Jewett, Jude Kennedy, Garrett Williams, and Chase Carlson all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

In the second inning, the Greyhounds got their offense started.  Jewett hit into a fielder's choice, scoring one run.

Braylon Nobach led things off on the pitcher's mound for the Greyhounds. The righthander surrendered zero runs on zero hits over three innings, striking out one and walking zero.

The Greyhounds totaled 11 hits in the game.  Carlson and Nobach each managed multiple hits for Eaton Rapids Varsity Greyhounds.  Nobach and Carlson all had two hits to lead ER.

Game 2

The Greyhounds defeated Waverly 8-0 on Thursday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Garrett Williams struck out Emmo Costilla to finish off the game.

The Greyhounds secured the victory thanks to five runs in the sixth inning.  Sebastian Nelson, Chase Carlson, Braylon Nobach, and Tyler Wolf each drove in runs during the inning.

The Greyhounds got on the board in the first inning when Nelson grounded out, scoring one run.

The Greyhounds tallied five runs in the sixth inning. The Greyhounds offense in the inning was led by Nelson, Carlson, Nobach, and Wolf, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Nelson was on the pitcher's mound for the Greyhounds. The righthander surrendered zero runs on four hits over four and a third innings.

ER had 14 hits in the game.  Williams, Carlson, Trey Acker, and Jude Kennedy each had multiple hits for the Greyhounds.  Williams went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Eaton Rapids Varsity Greyhounds in hits.  The Greyhounds were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Wolf made the most plays with  seven.
