Eaton Rapids Varsity Greyhounds stayed in it until the end, but Mason pulled away late in a 5-3 victory on Thursday.  The game was tied at three with Mason batting in the top of the eighth when Talon Rowe tripled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Eaton Rapids Varsity Greyhounds knotted the game up at three in the bottom of the seventh inning.  Eaton Rapids Varsity Greyhounds scored two runs when Braylon Nobach singled.

Eaton Rapids Varsity Greyhounds scored three runs in the seventh inning.  Chase Carlson and Nobach each drove in runs during the inning.

Trey Acker started the game for Eaton Rapids Varsity Greyhounds. The righty surrendered three runs on six hits over four innings, striking out two and walking one.  Eddie Jewett threw four innings in relief.

Sebastian Nelson, Garrett Williams, Nobach, and Carlson each collected one hit to lead Eaton Rapids Varsity Greyhounds.
