Girls Varsity Basketball drop their home opener to Pennfield

PENNFIELD SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 56
Multiple Greyhounds contributed to the effort tonight as the Eaton Rapids Girls Basketball hosted the Panthers of Pennfield. The Hounds got off to a slow start but cut the Panther lead by half. The Panthers were able to pull away after halftime. The Hounds outscored the Panthers in the fourth quarter but it was not enough. Final score was 56-31.
Avah Vozar led the Hounds in scoring followed by Rylee Winelman with 8 and Elle Lorente with 5. Kylie Alvarez and Zoe Newberry each chipped in 4.
Both Girl's teams play at home on Friday against a new/old CAAC white foe the Lakewood Vikings. JV Girls start at 4 pm followed by the Varsity at 5:30 pm. Come out and support your the Hounds!
